I sure HAVE to look in to these great tips next time I'm handed a revit project. Exterior renderings don't seem to be needing much of electricity outlets and plumbing tubes and that sort! Thanks a bunch!

Workflow:
Revit - 3DMax 2011 - Vray - Photoshop

This project aimed to produce a "selling" image from a very much complete Revit model to attract shop owners and secondly apartment buyers.

Learned that a raw Revit project file is extremely heavy in 3DMax and has to be cleaned.
In this image I built the facade bricks as instanced objects and most of the geometry once more in 3DMax.

Time spent: initially 4 days turning in to 6 days due to concerns regarding the facade and type of material etc.
