An innovative design this floating house presents new ideas for sustainability and modern design. The project, which is housed on a buoyant platform was conceptualized and created for the French firm H2ORIZON and constructed by Singapore-based architect Dymitr Malcew.
The luxurious floating home includes a spacious living room, two bedrooms with contemporary bathrooms, and a fully functional modern kitchen. Surrounded by large glass walls, it offers 360-degree views to the natural surroundings. The boundaries between interior and exterior space is blurred by these glass walls and as the house floats from place to place the occupants are able to enjoy many views.

Creation of this image was Inspired by one of my favorite designers - LIGNE ROSET.
I've decided to make this scene based on their legendary Moel armchair.

Some challenges that I was dealing with while making this scene,
were mostly Lighting challenges.

Since this scene is on the edge of overexposure, it was quite hard
to get different parts of the scene to fall into equal exposure category.

HDRI image was used as the main lighting source + local VRay lights
to get proper illumination to other parts of the image.

In addition, verity of different deflectors were used to block the lighting
from overexposing whites or other light colored objects.

IVY Grow FREE PLUGIN - was used to create ivy vegetation.

Carpet was made with VRayFur + Direction Maps

Rendered with 3DsMax 2014 & VRay 3.0 - 1400x1400 pixels - 7.5 hours

Post work was made wit Photoshop, After effects + Photo-real Plugins.
