Elephant Skin Airport Contest - Winning Image

Airport Contest – Winning Image ✈

I love putting all my effort into a single, polished piece — it's something I really enjoy. But for an internal contest at Elephant Skin, I decided to do the opposite and try something new!

This time, the theme was an airport. The only rule was to use a model created by Wellington Franzão and imagine it located where Kobe Airport is in Japan — on a small island. So while that was the setup, I still had a lot of creative freedom to play with.

Since the contest allowed unlimited entries, I challenged myself to explore one architectural project through different ideas and contexts. In the end, I created over 60 sketches and 16 final images. It was a huge effort — seriously intense. But that’s the point of a challenge, right? If we don’t push ourselves, it’s not really a challenge.

Winning this contest got me a spot at Archviz Republic in Lisbon! I’d like to thank Elephant Skin for this amazing opportunity and reward — and Wellington Franzão for stressing me out with that crazy triangulated modeling, while also motivating me to participate 😂
