El Cerro Del Aripo is a sculptural retreat shaped by the natural rhythms of the Caribbean coast. Inspired by erosion, sea drift, and the silence of remote beaches, this cabin balances shelter and exposure through a flowing timber roof and grounded materials.
The structure floats above the sand with minimal impact, using bleached timber and bark to withstand harsh climates. Curved lines mimic wind-carved dunes, while open interiors capture the island breeze without mechanical cooling
Rendered using 3ds Max and Corona Renderer, the visual direction focused on atmosphere over realism. Light, shadow, and salt-worn textures bring forward the story of place and solitude.
This project is a quiet meditation on climate, isolation, and the intersection of built and natural environments.
